WORD OF THE DAY #1

Holler.

Sugar & Gravy's Word of the Day shall be a new segment that I hope to actually remember to do from time to time.

TODAY'S WORD: circumlocution.
Mmmm doesn't it just sound good?

It means: a roundabout or indirect way of speaking; the use of more words than necessary to express an idea.

Loves it.

In other news, the GREAT FLOSSING CHALLENGE (is that what I called it?) is going well, I think. Since my dentist appt. (last Thurs.), I've flossed 5 times, and used my new soft picks or whatever 5 times. It's a start!!!

I think I must circumlocute excessively.

Another way of saying it is "to beat around the bush". That's what you do, Kate. You are constantly beating around the bush. Hehe...

Who's visiting?
